Materials
All of our pieces are made with sterling silver and heavy layer of 18kt gold plated
bronze.  All chains, jump rings, clasps, etc. are sterling silver.

Care and Cleaning:
Silver-   We have a variety of finishes on our sterling silver and they
should be cared for differently.  All of the silver parts have been oxidized
(a darkening agent that allows the letters and design elements to be more
pronounced and legible) before their final finish is achieved.
Please avoid using any kind of jewelry cleaners or silver polish as it will clean
the intended oxidization out of the detailing as well.

For Matte Silver a standard green kitchen scotchbrite pad used dry can be used
to restore the soft matte satin finish........Or......a piece of #0000 steel wool can be
used. (the finest available at your hardware store.)
For  Polished Silver a soft silver polishing cloth such as the Sunshine brand
can be used.
For Black Oxidized Silver no cleaning should be needed.

For the 18kt Gold Plated Bronze a product that we use in the studio is a laundry
spot cleaner called Zout (much like Shout).  Another option is to just use a little
drop of dishwashing liquid mixed with warm water and a soft cloth.
